Gplus is a straight forward shortening tool, but its ease of use and no registration required makes it a winner over an existing shortener such as bit.ly. All you need is your Google+ ID, which is that lengthy string of numbers that makes the whole thing ugly, and a name you want displayed in the URL. After that you’re ready to rock.
