So we recently talked about the new YouTube and their new social integration features, including Google+ and Facebook sharing, plus some cool content discovery features. We also mentioned how the design was in the testing phase with a select group of users and wouldn’t be available to the public for a few weeks. Well let’s be real, waiting’s for chumps. You want the new YouTube design now? You’ve got it now!
Pop open Firefox or Chrome. This is a little trick that will work in either, forget Safari or Internet Explorer, we’re going next level. Navigate to YouTube. Next, open up the browser’s development tools by using the following command:
In Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + K (Win) | Cmd + Shift + K (Mac)
In Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + J (Win) | or Cmd + Alt + J (Mac)
Now you’ll see the little cursor where you can input some text. Copy the string below and paste it into the console:
document.cookie=”VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU”;
Close the development tool box and either refresh YouTube or click the YouTube logo to head home. Boom! There’s the homepage for videos. If you have any favourited channels, check out your personal page and you’ll see a feed with videos from a particular channel! Very cool!
